The Suffolk Cherry Fair was revived in 2003 at the Museum of East Anglian Life, Stowmarket, on land where the original fair was held in the 18th and 19th centuries. The Fair again celebrates local cherries, along with local food and drink and is held in mid July. Contact the Museum on 01449 612229.

Cider in eastern counties such as Suffolk is made with eating and cooking apples - not with cider apples, as in the South West.
